What We Believe

GREAT GRACE MINISTRIES STATEMENT OF FAITH

ABOUT GOD

We believe that God is the creator of all things , He created the heavens , the earth and everything in it. He created them with His spoken word.

He gives life and breath and spirit to everyone in all the world. We believe God paid a great price for each individual. He wants people near Him. He believes in people just as they are.

Genesis 1:1, Isaiah 42:5 TLB, Matthew 6:26, 12:12, John 3:16, 1Peters1:18-19

ABOUT JESUS CHRIST

We believe that Jesus is the son of God, born without Sin to die for the Sins of Man. He is the Messiah, sent by God to demonstrate righteousness and love to man.

We believe without Jesus Christ salvation is not possible. Jesus Christ, “Is the Way—yes, and the Truth and the Life. No one can get to the Father except by means of Him. Jesus is the Light of the World, the light that guide the nations to God.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the light of life and without Him man will walk in darkness.

He is the only mediator between God and Man. The man Jesus Christ. And this is the way to have eternal life – to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one sent to earth.

John 14:6 TLB, Isaiah 42:5-6, Acts 4:12, John 8:12, 1Timothy 2:5, John17:3

ABOUT HOLY SPIRIT

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit that processed form God the Father and part of the trinity. He is the God that is present with us now on earth. He make the present of God real to the heart of a believer. Without the Holy Spirit it’s impossible to believe and live a life of faith.

The Holy Spirit communicates the word of God to our spirit and leads us into all truth.

He brings meaning to the word and meaning to our life.

We need the Holy Spirit every moment of our lives. He is the perfect gift of God to every believer that must be received. For Christ promised him to each one of you who has been called by the Lord our God, and to your children and even to those in distant lands!”

John 14:15-17 , Acts 2:38-39

ABOUT THE BIBLE

We believe that the Bible  contains the external living word of God.

The Bible is God’s word to all men. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without any mixture of error.

2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20, 21; 2 Timothy 1:13; Psalm 119:105,160, 12:6; Proverbs 30:5

ABOUT BAPTISM

Baptism by immersion symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and is your public declaration that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour. Baptism does not save you, but shows the world that you have already been saved.

And while baptism is not required for salvation, it is a biblical command and demonstrates your love and obedience to Christ. Colossians 2:12; Acts 2:41; Ephesians 2: 8-9; Matthew 28:19-20

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift from God. He helps empower the believer to develop the character of Christ and live every day in God’s will. Matthew 3:11; Acts 2:4

ABOUT MAN

We believe that every man is created in the image of God. But sin separated Man from God, and ever since, any man that have not accepted and believe Jesus as their Lord and Saviour is still separated from God and hidden from God’s presence.

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We believe that every man must believe and be born again to see or enter into eternal life.

Jesus replied, “With all the earnestness I possess I tell you this: Unless you are born again, you can never get into the Kingdom of God.”

Genesis 2:7-9, Genesis 3:22-24 , John 3:3, Ezekiel 18:20, Romans 6:23, Acts 4:12

ABOUT GRACE

We believe that Grace is the application of Christ’s righteousness to the sinner.

And Grace is the great ability and power given  to Christ believers to continuously testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. This gift is available to all Christ followers, its unmerited favour of God to live and reflect God to the unbelievers. Grace is what opens the kingdom of God to all mankind.

Moses gave us only the Law with its rigid demands and merciless justice, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

John 1:17, Acts 4:33 AMP
